ABOUT WEDDING DJ COMPANY

With so much choice between DJs, it’s hard to know why one DJ company may be different than the other, or why cost may vary between different DJs.

EXPERIENCE

We won’t use DJs with less than 10 years experience attained from a wide selection of venues and parties. We’re DJs, not agents. We know and we love the music and what we do with a passion, along with all that is required to ensure the success of your event or party. 

INSURANCE

A requirement from all venues, for both yours and our protection. We hold full public and employer’s liability insurance for £10m.

PAT TESTING

Again, a requirement from most venues is that all portable electrical equipment is tested for safety on an annual basis. All our equipment carries up to date certification.

RELIABILITY

Full breakdown cover on all vehicles
A huge pool of back up DJs
A staffed office all weekend and throughout the week

DJ DRESS CODE

All our DJs will be smartly dressed and their attire can be specified with your booking, be it formal or smart casual, just let us know.

EQUIPMENT

Branded, immaculate top of the range sound and lighting equipment to look as good as it sounds. 

ENVIRONMENT

All our bookings and administration is paperless and online and we drive modern, low emission vans.

Wedding DJ Company is run by Lotte and Olivia, who between them have over 15 years of experience within the DJ and wedding industry. Their meticulous attention to detail will ensure a perfect match between you, your music and your wedding DJ. 

All bookings will have exclusive access to Lotte's black book of supplier contacts that covers every aspect of your day, including the best wedding planners, photographers, florists, production companies, beauty, cakes and bridalwear.

THE BARN AT BOTLEY HILL

Rustic Contemporary Events Venue

After years of planning, dreaming and designing, our wonderful wedding barn venue in Surrey opened in summer 2019.

This exclusive venue is made up of three areas: the Main Barn (which acts as a banqueting hall), Baby Barn (which hosts relaxed drinks receptions) and The Oakley Barn (our red brick wedding ceremony venue).

It’s rustic yet contemporary, built from traditional black timber, crafted inside from reclaimed wood and features exposed steel beams.

Stunning floor to ceiling windows made from glass and steel allow guests to take in the breathtaking Surrey Hills views and spectacular sunsets, which are among the very best in Surrey. They can also be enjoyed from the landscaped gardens and terrace.

GOTE BARN

Rustic Sussex Countryside Barn

Gote Barn, owned by the Craig family for over 75 years, specialises in unpasteurized milk from their herd of Friesians and excellent, naturally-reared, lamb both grazed on the meadows near Glynde. The Grade II Listed barn itself, with high vaulted ceilings has been around since around the 1600’s with many of the barns original features still intact. Situated right in the heart of the Downs in the beautiful Sussex countryside, part of the Glyndebourne Estate, Gote Barn is 5 minutes from the center of Lewes and 20 minutes drive from Brighton.

Perfect for a beautiful countryside wedding reception, with the barns rustic and original charm as the background for your big day, the venue has a capacity for up to 180 seated guests for the day and up to 250 in the evening. With a lawn for drinks & canapes, and even fire pits to keep you warm in the evening, the barn is perfect if you are looking for a venue to personalise and bring to life once again!

CORONAVIRUS INFECTION

(COVID 19) POLICY

Being Covid 19 aware is a prerequisite for all of the WDJC DJ, performers and crew.

We've updated our contract terms and conditions and all bookings are completely flexible.

 

In the event you need to or move your booking to a new date due to Covid 19 or any other public health emergency, there will be no additional fees or charges to pay and all deposits will be credited to the new booking date.


Prior to the event booking date, we will liaise with your venue for a brief on all of their health and safety procedures to ensure the smooth on-site operation for the duration of the booking.

 

For DJ bookings, we ask that all music requests be sent in advance and ask that you advise guests we no longer take verbal requests whilst performing.
